Hi     Y'all!

Today’s hectic lifestyles demand more than energy from body and mind. Documented evidence reveals that stress affects both our physical and mental health. Throughout my life, I have vacillated between non-stop scurrying and balanced living. Thankfully, sometimes I am graced with moments that renew my spirit, heal my distress, and offer the hope that gives me the courage to draw my next breath. Such moments feed my spirit, allowing me to travel through my days when I thought and felt I could no longer move forward. Drawing from rich experiences in teaching, ministry, and my childhood in Southwest Louisiana Cajun country, I hope to engage readers in living each present moment as they learn to find their own authentic voices.

Rebecca Liprie has served as an Elementary and Middle School Teacher, a Church Music and Liturgy Director, as well as Music Director for local community theater. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of McNeese State University, she is a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and was Teacher of the Year for Welsh Elementary School, Jefferson Davis Parish, and Louisiana Regional Teacher in 2012. She is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music. In 2016 she was a Golden Halo Finalist for the Christian Chamber of Southwest Florida, whose aim is to educate, motivate, and inspire students.
